Bearcat project

by Cannon @, Thursday, January 03, 2019, 22:53 (2088 days ago)

While Jeremy was home for Christmas, he built a shopkeeper out of a basket case old model Bearcat. Barrel was chopped to 3" and the ejector assembly modified to still give full extraction. He did a little action work as well, and fabricated and fit an endshake bushing. All that's left is a dovetail front sight.

Bearcat project keeping it a .22 LR?

by Jeremy, Friday, January 04, 2019, 21:55 (2087 days ago) @ Rob Leahy

Yes, still a 22. It was a little more of a team effort than Cannon lets on, not to mention that he gave me the Bearcat to begin with. Like he said, just the front sight to do and then I bet it will shoot as good as ever.

Yes
