Forcing Cone
Worked on mine yesterday.
That ought to help.
Do you know the chamber mouth diameters?
Looks good, big improvement over the factory
cone. Now you have to tell us how it shoots.
That ought to help.
Fremin opened the ACP cylinder to .4535". The original 45 Colt cylinder came from the factory at .454".

Not sure it will shoot any better as it does pretty good for a factory sixgun. It was leading on one side the forcing cone & a 1/2" or so into the rifling, same side. I'm hoping it will now stop. I'm out of bullets though & will have cast some before I'll know.

Have you thought about doing a Taylor's throating as Jim Taylor's dad used to do on his SAA's?

I've considered that on a 44 of mine. This Ruger wasn't choked too bad. I fire lapped the barrel & my pin gauge passes with ease so thought simply re-cutting to 11 degrees would do the trick. Time will tell.
