I don't know about on a phone, but on the computer screen in the top right corner of the main window there's a link that says "Fold Threads". Clicking that link will cover or uncover the threads, allowing you to see just the initial post or the replies.

Ok. Logged on with the phone. You want to click on the link that says "Expand Threads"

which was hit "thread view", then "expand threads"....never even knew this place could look just like every other forum, and it was not pleasant.
