Tom, how has the hollow and the road down into it fared with the recent rains? We have had some real washouts over here in the last few weeks.

The road to the bottom is fair, I've worked it over with a tractor.
Trucks and SUVs will have no problems, cars will need to watch out for those Arkansas rocks. :')

If I was closer that would work great, I head NE from here and either go North through Marshal or up through Texarkana and up to Little Rock.

Actually something came up at work and I have to travel Wed. and Thur. This will restrict when I can leave for Clarksville, but I'm still trying to get there for dinner Friday night.

It is about 25 miles further than a direct route but is quicker by 30 minutes or more. All freeway other than the first hour. Coming home last year I made it in under 6 hours and averaged 68 MPH. I am going to leave in the morning. Thursday is forecast to be better weather than either Friday or Saturday.
