Jack is progressing

He is in the rehab center. Today on O2 and exercise. Started physical therapy today. He sounded much better than he did 3 days ago. He may get to go home in 4 or 5 days.

He has also decided to take full advantage of the three meals a day and being waited on by ladies in scrubs while he is there.

Sounding better? ...........nt

More than 3 words before he starts belly breathing.

The part about three squares and ladies in scrubs made me laugh out loud. He must be feeling better. :)

Thank you for keeping us posted.

Steve, you know Jack.

If he gets a female "horse-faced beanpole" of physical therapist, he just might decide to homestead the place.

Good to hear.

3 squares, nurses, a bed and hopefully a nice physical therapist. Yup, if they're all female and looking good, Jack may come outta there looking like he's been to a fancy health spa.

Thank you for the update. Jack is one of the good guys so I hope he gets all the attention they can give him.

HA! I hadn't heard that phrase in too many years

Every time I visited Jack, he would work "horse-faced beanpole" into the conversation at some point. LOL.

It is good to hear

he is on the mend. I own an ivory gripped USFA Double Eagle that Jack used to own and he was a hoot to visit with on the phone when I was looking for advice on an engraver and history on the gun once i snuck it away for Cubrock.

I fondly remember that gun

The Double Eagle was one of the USFA models I meant to order and didn't until it was too late. I wanted one in .44 Special. Jack's sure was dandy!

It is still here and

anchors one end of the birdshead hammer USFA collection. The recent Bowen lightweight anchors the other end with a few in between.
