that to assume we can buy a newly produced Colt SAA any time we want in the future is not guaranteed. Your comment on the small size of the work force who produces the SAAs is a good point. I also think it is telling that the TALO Last Cowboy guns were shipped to TALO unfinished and that TALO had the frames finished in what appears to be a chemical wash, rather than true CCH. I could be wrong, but I suspect the reason they shipped unfinished has to do with a dearth of talented people at Colt who could have finished them.
I really hope Standard Mfg. comes through on their announced plans to produce a quality single action revolver. However, I would like to see them producing them in competition with Colt, not instead of. I want both! :)
