And everything and everyone survived! At totality, we had about a 90% here, I noted a hummingbird at my feeder after having been told all creatures would be confused by the eclipse. The hummingbird was not confused, she was hungry and knows exactly where food is to be found!

Here in Cherokee country it's a frog that eats the sun.

Amazing experience - I was surprised at how dark it got and how quickly. Digital thermometer went from 107 F. to 84 F when the big heat lamp went off.

I would love to see a satellite photo of the moon shadow from space as it moved across the USA.

of THE best photo bombs of the eclipse on the news this morning. NASA shot a video of the moon about a 1/4 of the way over the sun and the International Space Station can be seen flying right through the middle of the picture with the sun as its backdrop! You can see the solar arrays on the ISS even.

.....and while the Eclipse was sort of interesting, it took second place to the scenery of the San Juan Islands. Amazing views, and the first clear skies we've seen in weeks.

Clear, that is, except for some dragon engaging in shenanigans with the sun.
