What's the word with Aero Precision AR's?

I'm ready to replace the PSA upper on one of my AR's and I'm leaning Aero Precision. I want something with a stainless 416 barrel and a Wylde chamber that will be accurate. I kinda like their enhanced receiver with the rail threaded directly onto it but I'm not real keen on their large diameter rails, preferring something smaller in diameter like Midwest Industries. They say most BAR style rails will screw on but I'm not exactly sure what a BAR rail system is (unless it just means it screws directly onto a receiver or threaded barrel nut), or if Midwest or someone similar offers something like that that's a lot thinner than Aero's version. I think Aero likes the idea that a suppressor will fit inside the rail but I'm not interested in that.

are there modern ARs that are not accurate?

It seems that even the lower priced barrel brands can be very accurate. Of course accuracy is relative. I've seen people try to do benchrest competition with ARs which is obviously pretty demanding on the barrel. OTOH it is pretty easy to get any decent AR to shoot less than 1 MOA. And I thought most builders could supply stainless or carbon steel barrels. You might be best off to select the parts that you want and either build it yourself or find a local smith to put it together.

Good stuff. I like their products...

I built my 6.5 Creedmore using their parts. Shoots lights out! I also have a few other components of theirs on various other guns. I like them. Good quality.

I am an authorized dealer for them.

I have all the tools to build one...

And there isn't much on one I have had apart and back together, but the Aero Precision uppers are priced really well and seem to be excellent quality for the price.

My thoughts run that way... also , mayb e not as critical

today but the things that were done in the past to make ARs more accurate tended to degrade the reliability. and if it isn't reliable it's a waste of time.

I intend to use this AR mostly for hunting...

I have a Stag Arms that's utterly reliable and accurate with a chrome lined bore and all that. I have a PSA upper with a nitrided 1:7 barrel that is utterly reliable and fairly accurate with bulk ammo and pretty darned good with handloads, but it can be fussy about which loads are accurate. For a homeland defense tool it's more than adequate and robust. So I pretty much have those needs covered already.

Thanks Matt...I ordered their

M4E1 with the 18" 223 Wylde stainless barrel with rifle gas system. My only real concern at this point is whether the hand guard will feel a bit bulky. I bet it will be fine and if not other brands are supposed to work with their enhanced system.
