New Revolver In The House
Nice 2" S&W 64 arrived today from Jack Fowler aka Honest Arch. I put on a pair of old Westinghouse Micarta grips and a Tyler T-Grip and stepped over to the range to shoot it. I like it very much. I bought my first 2" Model 10 in 1965 but didn't hang on to it. I bought another in 1994 but it slipped out of my hands also. I am thinking this one will stay, but I will shoot several hundred more rounds it to bond with the revolver before buying leather from Rob.

How is
Jack doing these days? I ended up with his USFA Double Eagle that he had Bowen tune up and Nutmeg Sports fit ivories to. He also gave me some good advice on engravers when I last talked to him since I was looking for an engraver for the light weight USFA project.
Now that's pretty slick. NT

He drove down to kerrville to visit with me a couple
weeks ago. He is doing fine. great company, as always. When he walked into the lobby of the YO Ranch Resort, Sheriff Jim Wilson and Brian Foster, the author and Huston Homicide detective, both walked in at the same time. We all sat down together and visited. I just sat and listed...
