Unconverted 1958 Ruger 44 Mag over on
the Leverguns Community classifieds...
I'd be surprised if it sold for that price.
The OM Flattys are dead weight without box and papers. Location may vary the price a bit, but $1000+ seems a bit hopeful.
I've no idea what market value is on them. nt

That gun has made the rounds of sites looking
for a new home. Being a 6 1/2" gun I would be surpised if it brings that price as well. I sold it's twin last month for I think $875. Now if it were a 7 1/2" gun! That would be a different story.
$600-$700 without box and papers
Where, in the past, these shooter grade guns would get snapped up, the introduction of the New MOdel flat-tops has really killed the market for those shooter grade guns, as folks can get a NM for their shooters, or base guns for projects. The boxed and crispy/minty guns are still bringing good money, as the market there hasn't changed with the collectors.
Of course, the rare barrel lengths (10" for 357 and 44, and 7.5" for 44), are still bringing good money.

I am not sure I would call the OM flat tops dead weight
I BOUGHT MINE IN 1956-57 FOR $96. THAT WAS
2-1/2 WEEKS PAY. GAS WAS 16 CENTS A GALLON, HAMBURG 4 POUNDS FOR A DOLLAR. NEW CAR UNDER $1,000, GOOD USED CAR FOR $100-$200. MOVIES, FIRST RUN 20 CENTS. CHICKEN DINNER AT HOPICAN GARDENS ON SUNDAY WAS $1.
Sorry Robb, those are all dead weight, practiclly worthless
I'll trade you some of my Glock "perfection" for them. No, no you don't have to add any boot in there

My dead weight .44 FT BH.
Made in 1957 and corrected for a proper barrel length. Rob Leahy made me the holster for a current model .44 Special Blackhawk, but the old timer fits just perfect.
