The Hammer - non-firearm post
Here's a little something I tossed together today. Some of you might find it of interest.
The Hammer - non-firearm post
Thanks for that post Paul...we participate in that mission and live in Ohio. Wasn't us with the hammer but I agree with you, he got what he was supposed to get.
I'm not sure
where in Ohio the boxes originated - and they may have been from different places. I saw (and translated on the fly) a couple of notes, including a note on the back of a picture of a cute little 8 year old girl, but all I remember is that they weren't from Cincinnati (about the only town in Ohio that pops into my mind when someone says "Ohio").
There were other neat things that happened, too, but that's the one that stuck in my mind due to the "Who sends a hammer to an unknown child?" initial reaction. Talking with the mom of a couple of the recipients last night and she was tickled to see the love and care that went into picking the gifts that were given to her two little redheaded boys. Thank you for brightening the lives of children (and their families) that you may never meet on this side of glory.

They don't explain why. Thought you would want to know.

Norton needs to update.
Last year my site was hacked and as a result was flagged by google. The original site with all the content was deep sixed, the domain name transferred to a different server, a new CMS installed fresh and clean, new template setup and we began again. The site was reviewed and cleared by google - but apparently some programs are still using the older info and has not yet updated. It's been months, but it's easier to get blacklisted than it is to get a clean bill of health afterwards.
Thanks for letting me know.

Wonderful story!
Thank you for sharing it. We have participated in Operation Christmas Child for many years. My wife, especially, put a lot of thought and prayer into it. I look forward to hearing many more such stories when we are with the Lord.
I reported it to Norton
Hope that helps.
Thanks! nt

Those who deface and infect sites should be publicly horsewhipped and forced to pay for the costs of restoration of the site. Not that I have strong feelings on the matter...
