15 grain .177 pellet

Here's a little something some of y'all may not know about. They are making a heavier "sniper magnum" pellet for some of the more powerful PCP rifles now on the market.

On the left is the 15 grain "Sniper Magnum", followed by a more typical "Field Target" 8.49 gr and a 7.56 grain Wadcutter.

Now to find time to get the Hatsan Nova to the range and see what it will do with these pellets. They just barely fit the magazine, something that leads me to suspect that H&N had the Hatsan rifles in mind when they developed this pellet.

Lead in the head is the rule; but these appear to have some smack'um.

The same weight as a standard 22 pellet

... if launched at the same velocity methinks it should penetrate well. Just need time to get to the range and play a bit.

now you need a hardcast LFN
