Marlin experts
I am working on a friends 30/30 336 SC (Sport carbine)
I am to understand that they are a bit collectable. This is a JM gun with a J
date code on the ser # . The short mag tube . What is rare about this gun is that the rifling is not Microgrove . It is regular cut rifling. First one I ever saw!
So when I give him a value on this gun what should I put it at? Gun is in VG NRA condition with one small spot with freckling under the receiver where the front screw is. Thanks for the help. J.Michael
Local sales around here it will fetch about $500 but
it will wait awhile in the store to do so. Such things we now put straight on GunBroker. Check there for COMPLETED auctions to see prices.
