Miles Fortis is back!
After quite a hiatus, we've got Miles Fortis posting new stuff. Bear with us as we attempt to refurbish the old site and info, we've got some learning to do as things have changed since it was built way back in the dark ages.
You can see the new content here:
The old site will continue on at http://milesfortis.us/
Yay!
Cool!
Are we going to see AKC back in print again?
Good news
Cool!
That's a great question. He's mentioned in a recent post anyway...
No idea offhand if he will or not.
My time is my own as I'm retired, but AK is still a wroking dude and his time is limited.
Anything new and intriguing will be on a "as I feel up to it" timeframe as my physical condition really changed in the past few years. That's the reason I popped smoke and retired for the second - and last - time.
No idea offhand if he will or not.
Good to see you posting Miles and yes, all those discarded calendars have effects that cannot be ignored.
Please tell Ol' Church that Sarge said Hello.
great ! he is extraordinarily knowledgeable and makes me
understand hings i never had before !!
i consider AK one of the best online friends and kindred
souls i have ever had.
i still have your book on percussion handguns on an honored
place on my bookshelf and frequently consult and quote it !!
Glad to see Miles back, hope AK comes around more often
God Bless them both .
Is that Miles' or is it mcumps?
I'm not aware of a book by Miles, but would definitely be interested in acquiring one.
Me? a book? Ahh, no people.
I've never had anything publicly published.
Has to be the latter...
Same book is on my shelf and I remember him shooting some of those revolvers out at Shawn Purky's deer lease years ago as he was putting the book together. Good times deeply missed:(
just checked...you all are right......memory not as good as

Yep. I'm getting to the point...
where I have forgotten just how good my memory once was!
I do understand perfectly:) nt

OK. You had me going for a bit, wondering how I could forget Miles putting together a percussion pistol book. But I DO have one of mcumps' books on the shelf as well as several of JT's. Need to get it down and reread it one of these days.
excellent and practical book
