Older Don Hume holster
Was scrambling through my "holster box" last night and came across one I didn't know I had. Probably one of the 5 dollar gun show specials I'm always dragging home. It's a Don Hume H702-1 No.3 and appears to more or less fit a 3" J-frame Smiff. Couldn't find it on the DH website or on E-Bay. It's a wishbone style with a screw tension adjustment and snaps for a detachable retaining strap, which is missing. No doubt an older style, as nothing like it is listed in their catalog now. In fact, I could not find any reference to this style holster ever having been made by Hume, but it's sure enough stamped with their logo on the back.
Anybody know what gun this might be for and when it was made?
Thanks,
Catoosa

Is it similar to this one?

Older Don Hume holster
Yep, that's it. Mine was in about the same condition except that the male snaps are both intact. I cleaned it up and put some conditioner on it, and made a new retainer strap. It looks like new and fits my 3" M36 quite nicely, although a bit bulky for that little gun. I like those old wishbone holsters.
Thanks, Slow Hand - minor mystery solved.

Thanks, Rob. A 2" Detective Special fits, but the holster is too long for it and too short for a 4" PPS.
A three inch Cobra would fit perfectly, but I don't have one nor anything like the money it would take to buy it if I found one!
