Broken stock, chair leg, etc...this stuff is well liked for it's strength and ease of use.. Cuts readily, yet pretty hard just break one of the 1/8" diameter synthetic dowels. let alone the bigger ones.

My rtqade uses it for joing broken chair legs, rungs, and about anyplace you'd use wood with load bearing capabilities.

A buttstock wrist that need reinforcing or re-joining would be 'made for' situation. BTW, the stuff is being used in Heavy Express Rifles in the custom build crowd. Really can take the recoil in FW and wrists. The owner of the company even made a pair of full custom stocks out of it. One is 'cased' in wood and looks like and ordinary Express Rifle. The other is 'let it all hang out, and is considerably heavy and weighted to match the recoil inpulse. The first one is kept around for those folks who say they have never met any recoil that they couldn't handle -- and it weighs about five or so pounds -- in some sort of large bore wildcat. The be4t is that they shooter cant't hang onto the gun in recoil. A very, very few folks have done that -- and the bets have paid for both the rifles....

The owner of the Company told that story to a fellow funiture guy, who as I understand, got a free safari out of building the two rifles, in addition to the 'costs'

Was cleaning out some back stuff and ran accros this...so check it out should it seem useful -- the company makes the product right up into industrial sizes and uses. Might come in handy with someone here.
