Blackhawk Bisley Conversion Saga - YAHOO!

Project was shelved for a good while but tore into it and fixed it. Bought a gunsmithing book and deduced the lower pawl notch was too tall and wouldn't let the hammer go back all the way. I bought another pawl (didn't want to file on the only one I had) and with some slow file - check, file - check, file - check I got it done. Trigger pull is still stiff but improving as I play with it.

SA's are relatively simple machines. There's some bits that are a little tricky to troubleshoot (like yours) but mostly they are pretty easy. Hence the robustness.

Now, go and fetch us a deer. ;-)
