Folks:

I recently picked up a Buntline Special (1982) that has the original grips (hard plastic).

They are OK with smaller calibers such as a .38 Special, but with a .45, the left hand side grates the inner part of my right thumb. Not comfortable at all.

I am looking for smooth ivory polymer or wooden grips. Anyone one got something that might fit? Is a trade possible? I could see myself tossing in a few extra bucks if need be.

Let me look in the grips box. I might have something that will work. Do you prefer one-piece stocks or two?

Two piece is fine. Thanks for looking. My grip box is mostly filled with S&W K-and-N Frames. Justhave another set of the Colt SAA Thirds.
