Two Names

by Jared, Sunday, October 09, 2016, 08:41 (2970 days ago) @ Creeker

Joe Mattingly is going way back. I want to say he passed in 2003 or 2004. I still see Craig from time to time.

How is Craig?

by Jimmy P., Florida Panhandle, Sunday, October 09, 2016, 13:21 (2969 days ago) @ Jared

Tell him a voice from the past says hello.

And I still have his ten dollar bill in my briefcase that I intend to hand back to him when next we meet.

How is Craig?

by Jared, Sunday, October 09, 2016, 16:02 (2969 days ago) @ Jimmy P.

Doing pretty good last I saw him. He got of the helicopter EMT stuff, and was in the oilfield in Midland. It all but shutdown a couple of years ago so he was waiting for that to pick back up. He is making leather plus doing some ceracoatng and other stuff on guns on the side. I'll probably run into him at one of the gunshows in the next few months and I'll let him know.

How is it going for you? It has been a while.

Yes, it has been a while. It's been going well.

by Jimmy P., Florida Panhandle, Sunday, October 09, 2016, 21:41 (2969 days ago) @ Jared

Retired. This past August was 2 years. Paycheck is a little thinner, but we had prepared for it and boy was it worth it. I don't know how I had time to go to work. Grandkids growing way too fast. But, it's all good.

Yes, it has been a while. It's been going well.

Good to see your post Jimmy, haven't seen you around and was wondering about you just the other day.

I've still got a couple years before I can retire, but I sure am looking forward to it. And yep, them grand kids can keep a fella busy. Hoot has his own baseball/softball team made up of grand kids.

HAHA!

Given a bit of growing time, we could field two teams!

They are a joy and a blessing.

Good to hear from you, Jimmy P! I am a few years past retirement and don't anticipate being able to ever stop "working" completely but I enjoy the stress. :-D Grands are great and Kyle just informed us that we can expect another one in 7 months or so.

Yes, it has been a while. It's been going well.

Kyle is pregnant?!?!?!?

Kids do things different these days. Ain't like in our day!

That is good to hear. When I was still at the airline I thought of you several times when we had layovers in Tallahassee. We just had our second son last week, they can keep you busy. I imagine grandkids would be a nice relaxing thing. My mom is loving it,

They are always appreciated, I have a bit more gun "wealth" now, but I think I was able to enjoy my shooting more back then. Right now I am waiting on a new NOE mold for the new Flattop 357.
