Finally decided to reload 9mm to feed the new Ruger 1911...

I've been delaying that for 20 years for some reason. It was always cheap enough not to mess with but I've decided to do it. I ordered 3000 mixed/polished brass for $198 shipped from https://elitereloading.com

When I order cast bullets, I usually go with http://missouribullet.com. Would like to find a good bulk lead bullet option. Any thoughts there? I don't cast enough yet to handle volume shooting.

Best price I have found on 124 gr bullets is $64/1000. NT

...but most of my bulk 9mm & 45 bullets come from https://www.ibejiheads.com

He comes to our range for matches and we can often save money having him bring them. Once a year or so we do a bulk order and pick them up.

Nice guy and a BIG supporter and match sponsor in Area 7 & 8 USPSA.

Thx for the option. Not bad for coated/shipped. NT

I have had mixed results with commercial cast in th e9mm. See if you can find some sized bigger that .355-366. I size all of mine .358 Andy cast them semi hard and they generally shoot good. I have ha days better results with powder coated in the 9mm than some other calibers as well.

I picked up 1000 Berrys plated 124gr for $65 or $69 plus shipping the other day. So I probably will be shooting those for a while.

That's a good price for Berry's. Normally $10-15 more. NT

I'd try Missouri Bullets with the Hitech coating or.....

Or I'd use Zero brand jacketed bullets, they are very good quality for a decent price. I've never had very good luck with plated bullets. ....
