Target is more accurate. 8" plate is fairly easy, but the 4" plate is a bear. Perfect hold without result about 50% of the time.

You didn't mention the distance. I have three K22s (two 1950s versions and one 1970s) and have found that mine shoot high with the rear sight bottomed out on two of them -- maybe 3" high at 25 yds - set up for 6 O'Clock hold maybe?

Just a thought as I know you are a very seasoned shooter and have most likely verified POI vs POA.

Whenever I'm struggling with my shooting, the K22 is one I go too for positive reinforcement.

25 and 50 yards. Rear sight is bottomed out. Had a variety of ammo, included some Remington target ammo as well as Winchester high velocity from 1985 or so.

that's a model I never spent much time with as I always favored K22s of various vintages, S&W 41s, Colt Match Targets, etc.
