Eclectic gun auction

Just got an email about this. Most of the items close within the next 24 hours. A bit of something to interest just about everyone, some possible good deals in different categories. May be worth your time to look.

Have bid on a couple things. If they go cheaply enough....

One thing I have to say - that site is SLOW. Takes a couple minutes to do just about anything.

Did you see that custom Remington Rolling Block target rifle. What a beauty. Their description on it is pretty scant on details, so I'm hesitant to bid it much higher than it is. I imagine a man couldn't have a gun like it built for less than a couple grand these days. Very tempting, but I'd be upset if I won it and it wasn't .45/70. They don't seem to know the chambering.

Noticed they didn't post caliber on a couple of Colts I was looking at either.

They got the caliber wrong on one of the SAAs

Description says .45. Barrel says .38 Special. That gun is a sleeper deal if it is a factory .38 Special with factory ivories, but I can't get any more details out of them to find out. I asked for them to look for a couple markings on the cylinder and the person answering emails doesn't have access to the guns.

Not impressed with their operation, but still prowling for deals. :)

Saw that. Thought the same as you. nt.
