Rifle used is a 177 caliber Benjamin Discovery PCP air rifle.

Nice shot placement. NT

The new hi-zip air-stuff is interesting. A mere .22 pellet at over the 1000fps mark is a lot more damaging than I had imagined,

Now, with the revival of big bore airguns, tossing some weight and zip, hail us back to the days of Lewis and Clark, and the Brit/Euro makers of those masterpieces. We are used to having more than enough powder-power to do our work, so re-inventing that Air Power genre is interesting. A suppressed .45 05 .50 has distinct possibilities.

Being From NJ I have been feeding myself with air guns for 44 years. I can tell you unbelievable stories about what an air gun can do. 35 years ago I was talking to DR Beeman and he told me of a guy hunting in heavy camo with an R1 in 177 cal He would shoot a bore in the head and run up and finish him off with a machete. I know of many deer taken with a 177 Cal air gun in residential developments.

Start with air rifle and finish with a machete. Huh. NT
