I like the M&P better too...

I had an M&P 9mm that was extremely IN-accurate, the slide chambered a round every time you slammed a magazine home less than very gentle and the trigger was atrocious. I liked how it looked and loved how it felt in my hand but I think I just got a lemon. If I ever get another polymer gun (besides a S&W Shield or XDs....a duty sized gun that is) it will either be another M&P or another XD9. The latter is the gun I never should have sold. It felt good, shot good, stone cold reliable and it's only crime was being plastic. I've since learned to appreciate the attributes of polymer pistols but unless Glock does a MAJOR revision of their grip to slim it down and make it substantially more ergonomic, I won't buy another one. Personally, I wish they would because they are so easy to work on and you can buy parts for them off Amazon. I should have sent my M&P back to S&W and had them fix it...at least give them a chance. I find it easy to get impatient with a gun that doesn't do what I think it should. I've been working on improving but I think I'm gonna be a work in progress for the rest of my life!
