Marlin new model 1894 chambered in .25-20. Cross bolt safety. Metal 95+% (very plus), wood numerous small dings but nothing terrible. I have a blue book from 2013 showing NIB-750, Exc-550, VG-450 with the note that 'collector interest is rising'. I would rate it VG at a minimum but maybe not all the way to Excellent.

Wha-dya think?

Thanks!

1894 or 1892?

.25-20 was an 1892 chambering. .25-35 maybe?

Marlin 1894's were also made in .218 Bee and .25-20 in about the early 1990's. Both are rafther rare.

There appear to be none of the 90's release in completed auctions on GB and only a couple in current auctions. Couple this with my 3-year-old blue book and there doesn't seem to be a clear answer. It sure would be a fun little levergun. Going to have to cogitate for a bit...

I am not familiar with their value...

but they do look like very nice little rifles though and the caliber is one of my favorites. Anything that shoots good in 22 Hornet, 218 Bee, 25 WCF or 32 WCF, is always interesting.

Have you bought it yet ? What ya waiting for ?
