Since Unique is so dirty, trashy and icky...I want some more
Looking for about 8#. Looks to be out of stock in many places. Know of any?

"New" Unique (last 15+ years or so), when coupled with a heavy crimp, burns much cleaner than the old stuff. The heavy crimp really helps.
For sure...I was joking about the trend to dog Unique...
I like the new blend better too. It's kind of amusing to me how Unique is the red-headed stepchild. I love Unique and it meters just fine for me. I also clean my guns after shooting so being a little dirty after shooting is no concern of mine. I wouldn't necessarily use Unique to shoot competition in but its so versatile. That and H110 and Bullseye are about all I need for handguns...and Unique and BE overlap but I like them both. I could live with H110 and either BE or Unique. For that matter, I could live with Unique. Hah!

I ordered two pounds through Bass Pro. Used the in store pick up to avoid shipping and haz mat fees. If there's a store near you that might be an option.
If you want to drive to AL I can hook you up.

Just looked and I only have 1 4# jug left unopened. Not worth the drive
BEEN SHOOTIN' UNIQUE SINCE IT
WAS POSSIBLE TO FIND AN HONEST POLITICIAN (BEFORE 1956). NEVER NOTICED IT BEING PARTICULARLY DIRTY.
Honest politicians?!?
John, I have great respect for you as a man, and I put great faith in your word, but that statement is stretching credibility!
Thx for the link - they are out of 8# also. NT

IT WAS A LONG, LONG TIME AGO!
ALL THE WAY BACK TO HARRY TRUMAN AT LEAST.
Yes, but...
You'd have to come to MN. They will not ship powder (or primers). They do show both 1 and 8 pound in stock as of yesterday.
Thx Hoot. Do you recall the 8# price? NT

I will probably find them at best price at the gun show. NT

He does not show prices on his site.

He tends to be slightly high relative to local prices but not enough to matter and has the goods that others don't. He's also a good guy and probably one of the most knowledgeable reloaders I've ever met.
I would price higher if I was diff from local shops too.
Being in stock and knowledgable brings value to a customer.
Oh absolutely!
The difference in price between him and, say, Cabela's amounts to maybe $.50 or $1 for equal items. Well worth the difference. Not slamming all Cabela's employees, as there is one gentleman locally who knows the ropes, but many/most can only tell you what's in stock--and their stock hasn't matched my tastes or needs in a while.

The last Tyler gunshow I went to had several 8 kegs
