I've had many 4 inch Model 10's over the years.

A round butt was never one of them. This one is from circa 1965, and the grips are serial matched.

As an aside, a guy that sets up at most of the local shows had a Model 19 RB six inch at the last show. Very funky looking.

Beautiful. All it needs now is a Tyler adapter and a comfortable holster and you're good to go. The skinny barrel M10 has always been a favorite of mine.

That right there is a be-a-u-ti-ful 38.

for my soon-to-be-new-to-me Model 10 HB (pinned barrel, serial number begins with a D). The nickel one. Mother of Pearl from Altamont.

Have been working on the rust with Flits and the left-hand side of the gun actually looks pretty good. The right-hand side? Not so good. Needs much more work. Then I have to start cleaning the blued steel parts -- trigger and hammer.

Should have the permits in about three weeks.
