I'm wondering if he just made it all up. I don't think there is any way to bruise your shoulder with an AR unless you lay down and let another person use it on you like a club.

I was at a rifle match one time when the local tv news came out to watch. Their small female newscaster fired a few shots from one of the match grade rifles and didn't think anything about it.

I'll save you the grief of listening. Congressman Brian Higgins calls an AR-15 "a weapon of mass destruction". These misinformed elected officials with depleted minds get to say what they want to fit their agenda. Higgins has been saying this on every local news broad cast. This is jackassery at its finest.
