Automobile Testing

WV is blessed to have I-64 running through our state. Back in the day I traveled Rt. 60 & others trying to go east. We are also famous for a stretch of I-64 known as Sandstone Grade. Sometimes we see automobile manufacturers there testing products. Yesterday was such a day. Ford had their Mustangs on the hill & I caught them sitting still at the Exit 133 [Bragg/Pluto].

Notice the blue car in the lead. They have chased that car all day, white cars following the black car, trying to catch the blue car. And so it goes. Enough said.

My daughter and I were in Colorado a little over 10 years ago and came across a group of cars in a parking lot that we had never seen before. They turned out to be the Ford Edge and some of the Mercury equivalent, a dozen or more total. I talked to some of the engineers driving them and they said they were testing them on a cross country trip the way normal owners might load them up and head out on vacation. They had normal suitcases, ice chests and so forth. Certainly more fun than sitting at a desk.
