I believe someone told me that the .280 Remington would fire the 7x64 also but the 7x64 wouldn't take the .280. I could have that backwards, it has been awhile. Ballistically they are about identical but I don't recall ever seeing a box of 7x64 ammo on a shelf over here. Neat find.
I've seen a Handi-Rifle in .280 also.

By this image, I'd guess 7x64 could chamber in a 280, but not vicey-versey.

I never knew they made those either. I think I've seen listings for Ruger 77's in 7x64 but may be remembering something else. Neat stuff! Thanks!
