Any one use this to remove lead from bore of a sixgun. Just became aware of this product and sent off $6.00 to investigate it. They claim that it is completly safe for this purpose. You wrap a few strands around a bore brush and clean away. It seems to me as kind of aggresive. I have always used bronze wool for this purpose. Just curious if anyone knows about it.

That is one of the advertized uses. I would think that using as lead remover would be o.k.

Do you use it as a lead remover? I thought that kind of material would harm a bore.
