S&W 610 - 10mm fans?

by Bryan Pettet, Friday, January 29, 2016, 21:31 (3209 days ago)

I was going through the garage tonight and found 2,000 10mm XTP 180 gr bullets in the wrappers. I'm going...huh, why did I have these? Oh yea! The S&W 610 I had...and sold! Geez. That was a dumb move. Have you priced them lately?

Cool guns and accurate! Who's a fan of them? Who wants to make a dumb move and sell me theirs?

Not a chance.

A matched set of adjustable sight S&W 1006 and 6.5" S&W610 Classic.

Also the 1006 has been completely gone through with top end action job by Alex at Ten Ring Precison in San Antonio. Very crispy crispy...

Also a bunch of magazines for the autoloader and maybe 100ish moon clips for the revolver.

Also a 5 gallon bucket of empty brass and set of carbide reloading dies.

Also a very nice real deal Milt Sparks holster for the 1006.

Also a 50 BMG ammo box full of 180gr. lead reloads.

I would shoot up the reloads before shipping as I do not sell my reloaded ammo.

I have no idea what they are worth but they are pretty old and they are probably worth at least a couple of hundred dollars.

Sold em both ASAP... Both times I needed to make payroll... sold em to friends here... I have one other 10mm a G40 that I had to buy to make holsters for... I am contemplating a Colt SS Delta Elite. But I have Mike McNett's excellent Double Tap 450 Short Magnum rounds for my steel frame 1911s and think "Why bother?"

The joys of running your own business.

Until one has signed the front of paychecks for staff but couldn't cash their own don't know how fun it is.

S&W 610 5". It's a dandy pistol. I really haven't wrung it out the way it needs doing but it ain't going nowhere anytime soon.

Yea, I miss mine...

they are great for deer/hogs. I like the Hornady XTP bullet in them.
