Is anybody shooting .45 Colt in a Ruger #1 .460 S&W Mag?
I have some fascination with the single shot Ruger #1 and since I just got a new Flattop Blackhawk convertible in .45 caliber I wondered if the Ruger #1 in .460 S&W Magnum is at all a good match. I see the rifling is 1:20 vs the .45 Colt 1:16 twist. Has anybody tried the .45 Colt in a #1 .460 S&W? If so, what's your impression?
Ruger #1 .460 S&W Mag? Seems like a lot of gun for a 45Colt
A handy rifle in 45 Colt or a Taurus/Puma 92 in 45 Colt seem far more practical to me.

Yeah, they're pretty expensive too. I like the single shots though.
No but I've fired 41Mag
in my single barrel 410 shotgun. Shoots as well as slugs if not better.
