Good read. Essentially what I thought...but some agencies might feel empowered to do things via rule making.
The most dangerous thing is opening the door for who

Is a gun dealer - two guns a year, accepting a credit card for payment or selling a gun at a gun show. If they can make it ambiguous enough, they can go after anybody they want and scare people from doing private sales. Also WHEN this doesn't work he can tighten the screws again. Death from a thousand cuts...
The ATF Guidelines are fairly straightforward....

If # 1 doesn't scare you as well as 15-16-17 ect you don't understand what they mean. A government federal record of every gun sale in America is the first step to confiscation. Letting a dr or school ask if there are guns in the house is a back door to unregistered guns. Here in NJ they have been asking preschool kids for years if there dads hunt or if there are guns in the house. Tell me why?

If he had access to guns. Thought about going into a tirade but ended up just saying no. I wasn't lying - they are either locked up or on my person.

I read this elsewhere on the net, basically "what's good for the goose is good for the gander"...
IF a president can "make law" through executive order and bypass congress, then what is to keep a future president from "outlawing" same-s_x marriage, or "outlawing" abortions? The democrats may have opened the door to things that they don't really want.
(and BTW I just discovered that this forum won't let you post the G_y word, or the s_x word)
