Any .25-20 brass out there?

The usual retail sources show none. If someone should run into some, please let me know.
And, for the curious, it's for a Husqvarna single shot, Model 26.
Thank you,
Hoot (shaking his head)

Don't know of any sources currently, but am most interested to hear more about the project when you get to shooting it.
Will do Brian.

I am convinced at times I've lost whatever was left of my mind.
Still trying to score the same rifle in .32-20 but haven't found a deal on one yet. This rifle was a very good deal and, although I didn't want to spend the money, I wasn't going to let it pass.
So, in 'the pile' is the .30-30, a .22LR, an unknown .22CF (still working on that) and the .25-20 which isn't yet in hand. They are slim rifles with a long heavy barrel and usable sights. Ought to be some kind of fun.
You certainly seem to find some very interesting pieces...

I rarely ever see anything so cool in these parts, especially in such a useful chambering. Very much looking forward to reading more about your experiences with them. If I cannot find or afford such neat pieces, at least I hope to read about your experiences. As for the unknown 22 CF, don't you have a couple pounds of Cerrosafe on hand by now? LOL
Thanks Brian.

This'un was a denizen of Guns Int'l. I spend too much time on the 'net probably...but there's certain things I like and look for. Now and then, they are found.
CerroSafe? Yep, there's some to be had here. Trouble is I can't seem to match the casting up to anything. For certain, it's "22 Hornet-ish" but it doesn't seem to match up to anything so far. Reports to follow....
I cannot afford...

To even look at the online sale sites, not enough time or cash. Maybe someday....
I assume you've already gone through 'Cartridges of the World' for potential matches with the 22. Will be interesting to find out what it is.

Is it chambered for the 25-20 SS or 25-20 WCF. The single shot brass can be really hard to come by. I wanted to set up a rifle using the SS brass necked down to .20 but scraped the idea after not finding any brass reasonable.
Assuming it's stock Husky,

it'll be .25-20WCF. There were five chamberings in three frame sizes. The .22LR in the smallest frame, .25-20, .32-20 and .30-30 in the next and a .45-70 in a larger frame.
At least, that's how I believe it works.
Admittedly, the .25-20SS is intriguing though...
Cheers my friend.

I had some awhile back but I believe I traded it off to Doc O'Meara.
I was going to ask if it was like my .32/20 Husky, but after reading, it appears so. Congrats on finding one, they are cool little rifles!
