In spite of my resolve...

to look one up and try it out this past summer, I managed to make it through the four months up north without doing so. The Shield is what ended up taking that job in my northern armory. Still, I'm intrigued by the little blasters, just didn't get the chance to try one. It was refreshing to see the wide variety of ammo now available for them as we traveled, compared with the utter absence of the same three years earlier.

Davidsons is blowing them out, which leads me to the conclusion that there will be a new LCP introduced at Shot Show.

those had a cranberry-colored frame though. No Gander Mtn around here or I would have been tempted to get one.

Ruger has cut the price on these dramatically, likely prior

My local dealer was a bit perturbed with Ruger for dropping the wholesale price $100 to clear these out before the new one is announced. He ordered 30+ of them at his distributor show earlier this year and is now losing $100 per gun on what he has left. He figures he might break even with what he sold at the old price.

Exactly!

We were lucky to only have six left in stock. We ordered six more and averaged the price between the twelve, so we are a lot lower than originally, but higher than what others are charging.

Pretty crappy way to do business. A heads up a month earlier would have made a big difference.

or rebates to the dealers that still have them in stock (nm)
