Great. I have some photos of old, Ivory grip panels that came with a first generation Colt SAA I'd like to post, to see if anyone here might recognize the artist's work. My father got the gun as a gift around 1953, and that's just before I was old enough to look at it or handle it. The ivory looked a lot brighter then, but I don't know how recently (or not) they'd been carved, or even whether they were the work of an American artist, or Mexican--but the quality of the work is more detailed than anything else I've seen on old SAA's.If anyone has any ideas, I'd be grateful if they'd share them with me!![[image]](images/uploaded/201111041451394eb3fbfb46903.jpg)
