Shotgun 2

Spent some of this rainy day at the range with my M/L. Love shooting round balls. Visited the 25yd plate rack & run a 100 or so through the little Smith 67. And fired a few rounds through the Ithaca. Lacking cardboard to do multiple patterns I only shot a couple. One with Remington 1 1/4oz load of 5s. The other with the RIO 1oz load of 8s. These were shot at 35 long steps.

I know sustenance hunting is one thing, but shooting them in the nest is not very sportsman like.

It was raining, I was hungry, & it was Tuesday.

Ithaca 37, full choke. Needed more pattern paper but since it was raining I didn't try to round up more.

Go to Lowes and by a 36 inch roll of underlayment paper. Its sort of redish pink in color. Pretty cheap patterning paper. I use a magic marker and make a squirrel head size aiming point. Slice off 36 inches and shoot. Repeat as necessary LOL.
