If anyone else has a spare or two they don't need, I could put them to good use on a Browning 92, or a Winchester 94.

Good. My sight is still hiding...
Then there are dimensional issues...

this one has a .380" wide by .95" deep dovetail.
My rifle is old enough to have the 0.400" wide by 0.95" deep cut.
Though I am tempted to peen and Loctite it, think I'll try again.
Still looking for perfection, but can do hammer & tongs if necessary.
mine is an older one too

I just measured it: looks to be about .395" at the bottom of the dovetail. If that'll work for you, it's yours for the asking.
That'll work fine and I appreciate it...

For flat topped rear sights, as long a you need a standard 3/8 dovetail.
Henry, they make a dandy rear sight for their base model 22s. And they are cheap.
