This is a knife!
I have one of these winging its way to me from Spain. Muela doesn't import this particular version, and I spent a couple of fruitless hours searching for a vendor anywhere before realizing the model number was 21OL, not 210L.
The blade is 210mm long, with a 130mm grip. It is 440C and 5.5mm thick. The scales are olive wood. The best part is the price, $76 shipped! Muela does import this knife with stag slabs and a brass guard and pommel, but it runs about 200 bucks! Forgoing the fancy trim and ordering it from a dealer in Spain saved me mucho dinero.
Every home needs one!

I almost bought one of those.....
......but in my search for a big knife I ran across the Muela.
I will confess that seeing you effortlessly hide that blade at the Taffin Banquet was what got my wheels rolling for a "big" knife. The Muela's blade is a smidge over 8" long, so a little easier for a Hobbit like me to conceal.

;-) Send a link, maybe we need to build a good sheath for
this brand, too.

Yeah, the thought had crossed my mind.....
.......there is also a slightly smaller version with a blade a skosh shorter than 7".

Apparently it does, but it also is the Spanish word for "headcheese "!
In Swahili it means "rock".
Sooo, hard headcheese?
Otony
hardhead cheese?...my mother might have called me that !
Nice lookin' knife!
Let me know what you think of it when it arrives. I might be interested in buying one....
Nice lookin' knife!
I will give you a holler when it shows up. There is a version with a blade just under 7" that is interesting as well, but the price is only a few dollars less.
