Picked this up this week, need to get it to the range and see how my 7.62 loads work in it. Mossberg MVP 7.62 NATO, 18.5" barrel, predator version I think.
Neat rifle... I have the varmint version

I've got the varmint version of the MVP in 7.62 with the longer barrel and laminated wood stock. Great, easily adjustable trigger and I like that I can use my M1A mags in it. I mounted a Leupold 4x - 14x scope on it. Haven't played around a lot with it yet, but it seems to shoot well with 5 shot 100 yard groups running around 1.25" with the loads I tried. I haven't gotten around to working up loads specifically for it yet.
Neat toy, I'm sure you'll have fun with it.....

Nice piece. Which model is it? We'll be looking forward to hearing how it shoots.

Predator version I think, with the black composite stock. Shot it today, two good groups but had scope mount problems and had to stop.

Thanks. I really like that stock. It must be new to the line because I don't see it on the Mossberg website.

The stock is comfortable, I like the more-open pistol grip and recoil is not bothersome. As you say, that stock does not appear in the predator line on Mossberg site.
