open up the high performance cartridges to a lot of folks that could only dream of a Bowen, Clements, Reeder, Linebagh or FA before. I think most of the folks here have something ,like that of a Bisley in 44 or 345 Colt.
I want one, haven't heard back from Jason Cloesner yet...

I'm in for a 480, I hope I can find a Rossi 92 in 480 to go with it.
That would be a fine pair of guns.

I have talked to The ceo of Ruger twice about getting a Bisley Blackhawk . He said very few people would buy one ,and all the other Ruger handguns sell well ,and on and on. I like the .480 Ruger, I own a few, Maybe now more people will try the .480 out. Thanks for posting this. $970.00 is a bit steep. but I said if Ruger would build it I would buy it.

that I'm busted and it rates in the negative numbers in terms of financial importance.
But I've really been unimpressed with what I've seen from Ruger the last few years, and I'm not just talking about the awful grips.
So which to buy, 480 or 454, what would you choose and why

If you intend to add a matching levergun, the Rossi 92 is still made in 454, while the 480 is hard to find.
