What ever the male version of a temptress is, Arch is one of those.

He doesn't have the legs for it.

Lighting does strike twice.

Yep, saw and marked it. As if I have any more gun money.

oooh

I did not know...

by Brian A, Wednesday, July 08, 2015, 19:44 (3430 days ago) @ cubrock

The value of the 5" Classics had gotten that high. Still have the box for mine and a complete set of replaceable front sights and it is as good of shape. Had to go back to the factory after I purchased it to correct some dimensional errors, but now is as accurate a revolver as I have ever fired.

I thought of yours when I saw that'un.

The 625-5 Classic .45 Colts are even higher

Those I've seen have sold at $1200 and up. Neat guns!

I'm Old.

I can no longer be stunned by prices, I'm just along for the ride.:-| Not *that* many years ago, I had quite a little industry going, buying who-cares model 29-2s for $300, and selling them to nostalgic old fogies for $350. When I had to start giving $350 for them, I knew something was up...

I've gotta say that I find this one a bit tingly myself.
