S&W I was not aware of

Was in my local store today and saw a new S&W Model 63 22 rimfire. This was not the air weight but a steel framed revolver. Three inch with a fiber optic front sight and adjustable rear. Eight shot. Seems like a very handy popper.

the old 6-shot models are pretty neat

I didn't know they were making them again.

I had a 4" square butt 6 shot version that was an excellent revolver. Wish I hadn't sold it 15 years ago.

My cousin had that same Kit Gun... First S&W I shot.

Same outing introduced me to my grand dad's 38 S&W 5" M&P... After shooting cleaning and fondling those two revolvers, I was thoroughly smitten. I was 9 or 10...I still have the old M&P. Always wanted a M63...

I gave my dad a 4 inch square butt 63 back in about 1980. It was the only handgun he ever owned.

Dad has since passed away, but I still have the little 63.

Traded a Beretta plus cash for a M63 and M57

Guy wanted a "deep concealment gun, like the Mossad use".

The M63 had been smoothed out by Jim Hoag, who also added a black sight insert. The little gun shoots as well as my 1950 K-22 Masterpiece.

I believe I came out ahead on that deal.

yes.

A buddy in Fairbanks just wouldn't let up on the offers to buy. I finally relented, but he didn't get it cheap.

Even more less seen are the fixed sight Model 650 in 22 Mag.

cylinders. i also got a 4" model 34 kit gun, in 22 lr, and with a magnum cylinder.

i have now found a ransom rest with fixture for the J frame, and plan to do a series of tests of 22 lr and 22 wmr ammo in both guns,

should be quite interesting!

I would be very interested in your results with the accuracy between the long rifle versus the magnum round.

i plan to test a variety of LR and WMR rounds in both
