Boge, I am sorry you have to post this. I know Jimmy was a good friend of you and your family and my thoughts and prayers go out to both Jimmy's family and yours. As one with no musical talent, I can surely appreciate the talent and skill Jimmy had on the guitar.

God rest his soul, peace unto the family and friends.

Again I was hoping the Shootist could skip that part of the holiday this year. We have aready lost too many good Shootist.

He will be missed.

What a shame.

One time, I looked up "grand old gentleman" and they showed me a picture of Jimmy Wood.

Rest in peace, Sir.

sad news, a good friend & fellow officer. Jimmy was a fine example of what a deputy sheriff should be.

I'm glad I stepped off the line to visit with him

several CSAs ago. What a remarkable gentleman and kind hearted person.

And then his playing dropped my jaw.

He, his family, and loved ones are in my thoughts.

We are truly diminished.

I will always remember him as a soft spoken man with a huge talent.

It's never easy to lose a friend, let alone one who share's not only one, but two of your favorite passions.

Rest in peace Jimmy Woods, and thanks for the music.

Jimmy was a great guy. I missed seeing him at the last couple of Holidays and CSA gatherings because he was unable to make the trips, and will miss him even more now. Rest in Peace, Jimmy.

What Ken said.

He was a unique individual and a positive addition to any gathering he attended.
I will miss him at CSA.
