Quigley Down Under - that's from WAY south west...
The Patriot - portrays loading hand cast balls into weapons by hand. Oops! That'd be an Eastern...
Can you name 2 westerns that portray handloading?
I'm gonna guess "Nevada Smith" - but just because I saw it mentioned twice on FB today. Never have seen it, but a quote was mentioned: "Pick up that brass....it costs a cent and a half a piece!"
A Southern and a eastern and a spoiler... DELETE yourself
and sin more!

The old western "Unforgiven with Burt Lancaster is one. Remember near the end when he was casting bullets and seating them in the cases? Quigley would be one but they mostly talked about it.
Bob
Valdez is coming, Burt lancaster and Quigley
.
Valdez is coming, Unforgiven, Burt lancaster if you are
discounting Quigley

Sons of Katie Elder.
I think that one with Tom Laughlin (the original karate kid)
...and was it Raquel Welch, where he built her a SA revolver to revenge herself from being "violated"...I think it was called "The Gunfighter" if I am not mistaken.
Also, didn't The Mad Trapper, played by Chuck Bronson, handload, or at least modify some rounds in his cabin?
I think that one with Tom Laughlin (the original karate kid)
YOU HAVE TOM LAUGHLIN MIXED UP WITH ROBERT CULP AND HANNIE CAULDER MIXED UP WITH THE GUNFIGHTER
just one for me- "The Quick and the Dead"
Many quirky firearms-related images in that one including Leonardo DiCaprio playing the proprietor of a gun shop and talking the virtues of different handgun models.
I think that one with Tom Laughlin was The Master Gunfighter
I am thinking of another movie...
This one: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Master_Gunfighter
...and the woman was Barbara Carrera.
SO, did the gunsmith in Hannie Caulder also load ammo??
Did the Mad Trapper modify or load ammo?
just one for me- "The Quick and the Dead"
Agreed, I always like watching the care and precision that the Swede puts into loading his cap and ball.
Who won? LOL
I brung up Unforgiven first!
that's one...

Caz you're thinking of Hannie Caulder. Raquel Welch and Robert Culp. Christopher Lee played the gunsmith who builds her pistola for her. The Gunfighter starred Gregory Peck.In his "quick draw scene against Richard Jaekel, the camera cuts away before he draws. Methinks Mr. Peck wasn't very quick on the draw.
FOR CAZ and everybody else too.....
You are right...Barbara looks nothing like Raquel...
...I shoulda' looked closer at her face. Mi malo!
My bad...the devil is in the details...
How can you mix up Raquel Welch? THEY LOOK THE SAME from...
...behind.

Little House on the Prairie.
Not the show, but I do remember a passage in the books describing "Pa" casting round balls.
