Someone heard the Krag actions were fast and they wanted a bolt rifle for some 3-gun competition but they live in a location where semi-autos are illegal for civilian ownership? Don't have any idea what it would take to get the magazine to feed 223 though.

Well, duh! It just needs to be slightly modified to take an AR-15 mag on the side!!
