Someone heard the Krag actions were fast and they wanted a bolt rifle for some 3-gun competition but they live in a location where semi-autos are illegal for civilian ownership? Don't have any idea what it would take to get the magazine to feed 223 though.

BTW, I have a fair idea on that kit, that may just involve on hand items.
