Sooo...anyone for a Pukka Sahib No4-2 Enfield "KIT" ?
1. Sporter bbl turned from clean, sharp Milspec bbl..then installed and headspaced on a "O" bolthead.
2. Action rear bridge flat-topped and welded in, for scope base. Front receiver ring, also D&T. for Receiver sight, D&T on left side.
3. All other action parts, complete. Sporter front sight, and possibly the scopemount (still looking).
4. Finished sporter stock-set w/sling swivels. Proto-type English fore-end and butt, suitable for duplicating -- Semi-pistol grip should be faired up with bondo to suit your hand size.
5. A box of small parts -- extra 'stuff' goes with it.. Military swivels and this n'that, Spare complete bolt head, etc.
6. Bonus: besides the ten round issue magazine, there is an in-the-blue Golden States Arms "5 Shot" mfd new magazine. These are pretty difficult to find, since Golden State quit making them at least twenty plus years ago.
Whatever else Enfield-y, I find, if anything -- short of an action, etc.
Now, this is not a 'kit'. Metal needs polishing and bluing, , etc. The rear sight base welding could use a 'cosmetic' light pass and filing up, but it not an eyesore, as it is.
300.00 or mixed barter/cash equivalent. m a r s h g r r l aht gee mail daht kom
I don't need another but your post certainly caught my
attention!

Why, thank you...Enfileds have always been a fun for me..
This one is languishing, behind other projects -- so a good home is needed.
You know (I suspect) how I feel about these things John.
I need another project like I need extra orifices. You DO have me cogitating though....
these things ....
Well, couldn't go to a better home, for all that. I'll try to think of something I need, that might be surplus to your "pile'a".
these things ...might be on of these....
My walnut tree double-corner lot is infested with those tiny lighting quick little red squirrels. I'm pretty sure the have acess to some sort of instant transporter, as they wink out of sight about the time you actually focus on them. Some, because I'm in the city, I'm thinking a SB-cap thrower rifle might be of use. SPEC: Single shot with easy-access bullet tray -- tye flumbly leedle thangs, ya know. Bolt action, likely. Grooved top for tip off scope. PLAN; Have elevated garden shed with prop open windows -- overlooking 'the range habitat.' Let's just say the 'report' will be 'indistinct'. Doesn't have to be pristine, but OK bore. Any thoughts that may work in your direction are welcome, thanks.
I will drop you a note John.
