Rain & the 357
After a couple days in the house I had to get out Wednesday so I took a 357 & a 100 rounds to the truck. I drove to a place I like to shoot but the rain wouldn't quit. The temp was up, snow melting along with plenty of rain. So I just shot from the truck. Busted a few rocks & was happy to be out. Here's some pictures.

In NJ you often shoot from the truck. Just not at rocks.

Haven't shot it in over a year. I spent most of the last 12 months or so learning the 9MM. Also put a bunch through a 38 & several through the ACP cylinder of my Ruger. The rest of the time I shot a 223 bolt gun. The special has been on my mind the last little bit but all the 44 stuff is packed till we get settled in another place.

Back in my early 20's I learned that handguns can be accurate with some Elmer reading and a Model 28 Smith & Wesson. Shot mostly 38s in it though. I've been in the process of building and moving myself and haven been to the range since October and I'm about to go stir crazy. I'll get a gun out of the safe and dry snap it at spots in the snow or on a tree.

I thought I was the only one crazy enough to want to shoot so bad to shoot out of the truck. I usually do it when its too cold and the snow is coming in sideways.
By the way try shooting a Cap n Ball out of your truck. It makes the truck smell like you've been eating pickled eggs and beer.
